We are a small company based in London. Our goal is to take innovative and unique bags to market. We have just finished the prototype stage for our first backpack range - the "Suit Up" range. With this we aim to make a statement with a fashionable and yet very practical bag. We will also be launching a Kickstarter in the coming months. Subscribe below to follow our journey!

The Suit Up Backpack

The Ultimate Business Travel Companion

Our "Suit-Up" range is designed to hold everything that one would want when travelling on a long weekend trip, a short journey or even just a trip to work whilst ensuring that their clothes (in perticular their suit) don't get creased. Our first backpack has the capability to hold a folded suit (or any other folded clothes for that matter), a laptop/tablet, a pair of shoes, cables, toiletries, work and travel documents and a full set of casual clothes.

We have included the use of a detachable hanger rails and left plenty of space for the suit to breath this ensures that your suit is easy to hang up in the bag and will always arrive at the destination in the same condition that it was left in.

The "Suit-Up" backpack has also been designed to fit into any aeroplane hand luggage and the materials used (see the section below) have allowed us to do our best to ensure that the backpack is light enough to carry without any issues to allow for maximum accessibility.

Features

Hanging The Suit

Removing Shoe Compartment

Travel COMPATIBILITY

Aeroplane Travel

Our "Suit-Up" bags have been tested as hand luggage on both international and domestic flights and have had no issues through security or with storage at all even when fully packed for week long trips.

Train Travel

Our "Suit-Up" bags have also been taken on many train trips, both through the City of London during rush hour and non-rush hour. We have also tested them on long haul train trips where they have had no problems with fitting on the luggage racks above the seats or the larger floor luggage racks.

The Concept

The Concept

The concept was first thought up by founder, William Dodge in the summer of 2015. He wanted to be able to ensure that his suit and work shoes would not get damaged, creased or dirty in transit when he went to the gym after work each night. After attempting to find this product on the market he was unable to find a bag that fulfilled all of his requirements. He then approached the Director of design, Harry Wyatt, with some initial ideas and sketches. Together they were able to refine the concept into the design you see below. This design has since been tweaked in the prototyping stage.

The Materials

The Materials

The Fabric

The outside of our bags our made out of one of the highest quality fabrics on the markets. 1680 Denier Nylon, which is coated in PU twice, to ensure that it is waterproof and durable. After careful consideration we opted for this luxurious fabric to make sure that our bags are lightweight and maintain their high quality finish that enables users to look as sleek as possible whilst knowing that their suit is fully protected.

The Padding

We are using soft foam for the internal padding. It is a very lightweight material that is thick enough to maintain the structure of the bag enabling the user to have a comfortable experience and not need to worry about their back damaging the suit.

The Journey

Research and Development

We decided to remove the pull bar on the basis that "jack of all trade" bags are often difficult and expensive to produce and usually end up not being particularly good at either of their uses. We have also worked to reduce the size of the hanger to minimise the size of the bag and to ensure that the suit is held securely in place in the bag to be certain that the suit wont crease. Not long after these decisions our designer was able to render the designs above allowing the company to move onto the prototype stage.
